Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Velocity Ticket. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. This is a general template for an MVP and is not legal advice.

Acceptance

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Velocity Ticket. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

What Velocity Ticket is for

Velocity Ticket helps tradespeople, contractors, freelancers, and small businesses create professional payment documents for legitimate work — invoices, quotes, estimates, bills, receipts, and related records. Documents use Velocity Ticket's own layout and your business details. The service is not a substitute for official receipts, tax forms, or records issued by retailers, banks, government agencies, or other third parties.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, upload unlawful content, or use Velocity Ticket in a way that violates applicable law. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information in documents you create. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or puts the service at risk.

False or misleading documents

Creating false, fabricated, or misleading documents is strictly prohibited. You may not use Velocity Ticket to invent transactions, impersonate another business or institution, copy official third-party receipt or statement formats, or produce documents intended to be passed off as genuine records from someone else. This includes, without limitation, falsifying purchases, payments, employment, expenses, refunds, or any other facts for reimbursement, tax, immigration, insurance, lending, or similar purposes. We may remove content and terminate access for violations.

Disclaimers

Velocity Ticket is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Documents generated through the service are created at your direction and are not issued, endorsed, or verified by Velocity Ticket or any third party named in the document.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velocity Ticket and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.

Changes

We may modify or discontinue features with or without notice. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a different jurisdiction applies by mandatory law.
