This quick guide explains the normal workflow so new users can start fast and understand exactly where Pricing and Billing fit into the product.

Step 1

Start from Dashboard

Open Dashboard and describe the job in plain language. You can attach photos and include customer context before generating.

Step 2

Generate document draft

Velocity Ticket creates line items, totals, and professional formatting. Every new document starts in Generated so you can review before finalizing.

Step 3

Edit with Buddy or Manual

Use Buddy for natural-language edits or switch to Manual for direct field-level changes (recipient details, line items, tax, notes, and branding).

Step 4

Save and download PDF

When ready, save your document and download a polished PDF for the recipient. Saved documents remain searchable and editable in your dashboard.

What happens when I run out of free documents?

The free tier includes 20 documents every 30 days, resetting on a date unique to your account. Need more before then? Choose a paid plan on Billing to keep creating documents right away.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Open Billing to upgrade or switch plans as your monthly document volume changes.

Can I use it on mobile?

Yes. The app is optimized for phone and desktop so you can create documents in the field.
